Unique images: this is how Hoorn celebrated Luilak in 1967

With empty looks over the road, pan lids and here and there a megaphone. In 1967 Luilak was still an annual tradition. Hundreds of children went in a parade, some dressed up, across the street and at the end were given a delicacy: the Luilakbol. They rang the doorbell, ran and drove through the streets with mopeds. Curious people looked out the window at the noisy children. Look back at the unique images above.
