For the Union fans, it is the Europa League game with the shortest journey. Accordingly, many supporters are currently trying to get tickets for the duel on Thursday at Malmö FF.
It only takes 45 minutes by plane to Copenhagen, then over the Öresund Bridge (25 kilometers) and you’re already in Malmö. You can even drive from Berlin via Fehmarn (630 kilometers). It’s even faster with the ferry (Rostock-Gedser).
The real problem: there are not enough cards. Not yet …
But it is possible that there will be more than the 1025 Union fans in the stadium for Union’s guest appearance in Malmö on Thursday.
The traditional Swedish club informed fans and members on Monday afternoon that talks with Union about more tickets were underway.
Around 1,400 supporters of the Köpenicker had bought tickets through the normal presale – Malmö then canceled them again. Officially for security reasons.
20,500 fans are allowed into the “Elede Stadium” on Thursday. So far, just under 14,800 tickets have been sold.
