While Union Berlin is probably selling striker Sheraldo Becker (28) to Real Sociedad in Spain, the new striker for the “Iron” may come from Switzerland. According to transfer reporter Fabrizio Romano, the Köpenick team have made a formal offer for Chris Bedia from Servette FC. The Ivorian was recently linked to Werder Bremen.

According to the journalist, the Unioners are in negotiations about the 1.90 meter tall attacker, although there are said to have been no discussions involving Werder yet. Bedia, who contributed 16 goals this season across all competitions for Servette, is only under contract with Geneva until the end of the current season. Other clubs from Germany, including FC Bologna and Wolverhampton Wanderers, are also said to have Bedia on their list. In Bremen, the name emerged as a possible replacement for loan player Santos Borré, who has an offer from Brazil.
