A veritable transfer coup is looming at Union Berlin. According to reports, the Köpenickers are about to sign national player Robin Gosens.
As the “kicker” reports, the talks between Unionern and Inter Milan are at an “advanced stage”. Accordingly, only the commitment of the player should be missing.
In the capital, Gosens could cover several posts on the left. While Union currently only has one left-back in Jerome Roussillon, the search for a left-winger in the Champions League participant’s squad has been entirely unsuccessful.
Gosens would be Union’s “king transfer”
It is still unclear how the club would finance a transfer of the 16-time international. There is currently a transfer fee of 15 to 20 million euros in the room. That would be a first in the club’s history. So far, Union Berlin has never spent a double-digit million sum on a player.
