Union Berlin lends Laurenz Dehl (21) again. After the midfielder played for Halleschen FC in the 2020/21 season and was last with the Bohemian Football Club in Dublin in the first half of the season, he is now going to the regional league Northeast with his neighbor Viktoria Berlin until the end of the season. The “Iron” reported on Wednesday.
“After his loan to Dublin didn’t go as we had all hoped, Laurenz now has a new opportunity. Of course we hope that he can and will make the best possible use of his time at Viktoria,” said sporting director Oliver Ruhnert. Dehl was due to gain match practice in Dublin but only played one 45-minute game before the loan was called off a month before it was due to end. The homegrown player has been a member of the professional squad at Union since 2019 and made his only first-team appearance to date in 2021 in the UEFA Conference League qualifiers.
