The company, which owns brands including Knorr, Magnum and Ax, raised its full-year sales guidance. In the third quarter, Unilever plc benefited from significant price increases.
Sales increased in the three-month period by 17.8 percent to 15.8 billion euros. Adjusted growth was 10.6 percent. Prices rose 12.5 percent while sales volumes fell 1.6 percent.
In the current year, the group now expects adjusted sales growth of more than 8 percent. Most recently, Unilever had forecast growth above the forecast range of 4.5 to 6.5 percent.
The quarterly dividend was retained at EUR 0.43.
