Unilever achieves higher turnover due to higher prices, but new CEO not satisfied: ‘We are underperforming’

Unilever once again recorded higher turnover in the past quarter because prices for its products have risen. The care and food group behind brands such as Magnum, Dove and Calvé sold fewer products at the same time. Recently appointed Dutch CEO Hein Schumacher was critical of the latest results. He announced an ‘action plan’ that should make Unilever simpler and more effective.
