‘Undersized Yvonne Coldeweijer item!’

NPO Radio 1 presenter Ron Vergouwen finds the ‘research’ that BNR Nieuwsradio has done into Yvonne Coldeweijer’s juice channel rather embarrassing. According to him, it is ‘below par’.

BNR Nieuwsradio and its presenter Talitha Muusse have received strong criticism for the way in which they tried to lure Yvonne Coldeweijer into a trap with a snuff film. They made quite a few mistakes and manipulated other media by publishing an abbreviated version of the sniff video themselves.

Pretty embarrassing

Ron Vergouwen, media expert in the De Perstribune program of NPO Radio 1, finds it quite embarrassing how the competitor has gone to work. He has declared BNR’s blunders to be the radio moment of the past week. “Normally I always try to keep it positive, but this week just a critical note.”

He continues: “BNR blew high this week with a reveal from their presenter Talitha Muusse. According to her, she enticed juice influencer Yvonne Coldeweijer into a trap with a fake video that supposedly showed that Talitha was sniffing coke and BNR was very proud of it.

‘Nothing research!’

Talitha and BNR have delivered a mess, Ron thinks. “There was a lot of fuss about this radio item, but I think it’s just a little research really. It is not representative, I even think it is seriously below par for BNR in terms of journalism.”

“I am a big fan of BNR, let that be clear, but I even think this is a bit harmful to the good name of BNR. So don’t do it anymore guys!”
