The clothing supplier Adler Modemärkte AG will be the subject of an episode of the reality series “Undercover Boss”.
A current episode of the series of the German television station RTL was shot in Adler branches, announced the parent company Zeitfracht Gruppe in December. Adler supervisory board member Maren Wolters becomes the main actor. She has been in this position since autumn 2021.
For the TV format, Wolters works as a covert supervisory board member in the company. In return, the 29-year-old gets a makeover: her blonde hair is shortened and dyed brown, her glasses are replaced by contact lenses and her business look is swapped for a rock-style.
In her role as Laura, she works in branches, in logistics, as a kitchen helper in the customer restaurant – Adler currently wants to further strengthen its gastronomic offer – and as a cleaner. The aim of this is to check how the company’s restructuring concept is being implemented. The episode will air on January 11th at 8:15 p.m.
Adler filed for bankruptcy at the beginning of last year. In the middle of the year, the fashion retailer was taken over by the Berlin conglomerate Zeitfracht, which brought the company out of bankruptcy. Zeitfracht owner Jasmin Schröter and her husband Wolfram Simon-Schröter, board member of the group, already played in the reality series “Undercover Boss” three years ago.
