The police have arrested a minor boy from Emmen for involvement in a sex offense in Heerenveen.
There, on August 3 last year, a 7-year-old girl fell victim to a sexual offense in the De Heide recreation area. The police were then looking for a boy of about fifteen years old.
The suspect was released on conditions yesterday. He may await the further course of the investigation at home.
