The US sporting goods provider Under Armor Inc. has found a new European boss. On Friday, the company announced the appointment of Kevin Ross as Senior Vice President, Managing Director of EMEA.
Ross succeeds Kara Trent, who moved to the position of President of the Americas within the company. He will assume his new position on February 12 and report directly to CEO Stephanie Linnartz.
In his future role, the industry veteran will lead Under Armor’s businesses in Europe, the Middle East and Africa and will be responsible for developing and implementing the regional omnichannel growth strategy, according to a statement.
After a career at Adidas, Ross had already worked for Under Armor in various management positions for nine years. Most recently, he held the position of Managing Director of International at the US outdoor outfitter Yeti.
