The German U21 national team has won another top-class opponent for preparation for the EM 2023.
DFB coach Antonio Di Salvo’s team welcomes neighbors France on September 23, the venue is still open. This was announced by the French association on Wednesday. Four days later, the German team is visiting England.
An unusually long preparation for the European Championship is on the agenda for the U21 selection of the DFB. Germany will go into the tournament from June 9 to July 2, 2023 in Romania and Georgia as the defending champion.
Di Salvo had already announced “friendly matches against top nations” after the successful European Championship qualification, which “will show us where the team stands.” France had survived the qualification undefeated.
