Tennis player Tallon groenpoor is through to the second round of the ABN AMRO tournament. The tennis player from Nieuw-Vennep came back several times from a defeated position. In three sets he was too strong for seventh-seeded Russian Aslan Karatsev (2-6, 7-6, 7-6).
In the Rotterdam Ahoy, Greek track came back from a 5-2 deficit to 5-5 in the second set. Greek track won the second set 7-6.
Greek track survives multiple match points
In the third set Karatsev seemed to take the game to himself. He took a 5-3 lead and got several match points. The number fourteen in the world did not use it. Greek track came back to 5-5 and also in the second tiebreak the North Hollander was clearly the strongest. Karatsev was completely lost and did not make a point in the tiebreak.
