A UN Committee charged with the Elimination of Racial Discrimination (CERD) is concerned about the scale of racist speech in France, according to a survey conducted by 18 independent experts. The French government must take more action against, among other things, racist statements on the internet or against ethnic profiling by the police, it sounds.
