UN human rights boss arrives in China for first visit since 2005: Xinjiang province is also on the program

High Commissioner for Human Rights Michelle Bachelet started her six-day visit to China on Monday. It is the first time in 17 years that a UN human rights commissioner has visited the country. She also heads to Xinjiang province, where human rights groups say hundreds of thousands of Uyghurs are imprisoned in detention camps.
