A National Football Team defeated Wales 2-0 in the fourth match of the 2024 European Football Championship Qualifiers Group D.
Umut Nayir, who recorded the first goal of the match, made statements after the match.
The 29-year-old striker, who scored his first goal with the national jersey, said:
“Everyone assigned to the National jersey has a common goal here. We are very happy and proud of being able to do our duty.”
“I scored 2-3 minutes ago, but it was cancelled. I knew it would be cancelled. I made up for it when he scored. Barış centered very well, I was afraid that the goalkeeper would save him, but the goal was scored. Me and Arda later entered the game and changed the score. I am proud of making people happy.”
“I’m glad I took off the mask. If I hadn’t, I might not have hit my head so well.”
