In the statement made by the International Testing Agency (ITA), it was stated that Kaminska was temporarily banned from the Olympics due to the discovery of two more substances with a banned anabolic steroid in the doping test.
Valentyna Kaminska placed 79th in the women’s cross-country 10km classic, 70th in the free sprint, and 18th in the teams 4x5km relay.
Kaminska, 34, became the second athlete to be banned from the games due to doping after Iranian Hüseyin Save Şemşeki, who competes in alpine skiing.
