Ukrainian president wants talks with Putin and Biden | Abroad

“President Zelensky has proposed to President Biden — and we believe this could happen — a trilateral meeting, with President Biden, President Zelensky and President Putin,” said Andrei Yermak, an adviser to the Ukrainian leader. “We are still waiting for the reply from the Russian side, but our American partners have received our proposal with a certain interest,” it said.

More concrete information about a possible triangular meeting cannot yet be given. It is possible that the meeting between the three presidents will take place digitally.

In recent days, many negotiations have been conducted about the Ukrainian conflict. But the talks have not yet yielded a breakthrough.

The West accuses Moscow of preparing an attack on its neighbor. But Russia argues that the military deployment in the border region is merely a response to NATO’s growing and hostile presence in an area the Russians say falls within their sphere of influence.
