Aleksandra tells how she penned the information on her daughter with ‘trembling hands’.

On the girl’s back is her name and date of birth and a number of telephone numbers. “I wrote that on her back on the first day of the war in case something happens to us and someone finds her,” said the mother, who wanted to flee Ukraine together. “An even crazier thought crossed my mind: why didn’t I get this information tattooed on her back?”
Heartbreaking measure
In the second photo, Aleksandra shows that she also put a handwritten card with her name, the names of her parents and their phone numbers in her daughter’s jacket. It turns out she is not the only one who took this heartbreaking measure. In the comments, someone writes: “On the first day of the war, I did the same for my 3-year-old son. Even though we are in England now, he always has the paper with him.”
Ukrainian mother safe in France
The mother and daughter now appear to reside in the south of France. But, Aleksandra says, “I still can’t throw the paper away, even though we’re safe.”
