Ukrainian ballet dancers Stanislav Olshanskyi (28) and Alexis Tutunnique (27) will give a special performance at the Liberation Dance Festival on May 5. For them, dancing for freedom now feels extra important, because in their homeland it is war: “May 5 is about freedom from fascism and Nazism. The war in Ukraine is against Russian fascism, because what their soldiers do can only be compared to the Nazis in World War II.”
