Ukrainian authorities announced their readiness to erase data on servers if necessary
The government of Ukraine is preparing for a scenario of destroying data on servers and transferring confidential information from Kiev if Russian troops try to “take over” the Ukrainian capital. Viktor Zhora, Deputy Chairman of the State Service for Special Communications and Information Protection (Gosspetssvyaz) of Ukraine informed in an interview with Politico.
According to him, even if Russia takes control of government institutions, the Ukrainian side “can move to new places, save data, delete data and prevent the capture of all this data.”
