Ukraine: terrible missile attack, not seen since 1941

The Ukrainian capital Kiev is currently being hit by “terrible rocket attacks,” Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba wrote on Twitter on Friday morning. “The last time our capital experienced something like this was in 1941 when we were attacked by Nazi Germany,” Kuleba said.

The minister states that “evil was dispelled then” and that will also be the case now. “Stop Putin, isolate Russia, cut all ties and kick Russia out everywhere,” Kuleba concludes his message.

Explosions were heard in Kiev during the night from Thursday to Friday. Officials within the Ukrainian Ministry of the Interior spoke of ballistic and cruise missiles but that could not be verified by media.
