Ukraine shipped 4 million tons of grain via Danube since March

Ukraine says it ships more and more grain via the Danube. On Saturday alone, 11 ships were on their way via that river to the Ukrainian ports of Izmajil, Reni and Ust-Dunaysk. In total they can transport 45,000 tons. Since March, more than 4 million tons of grain have been shipped abroad through Ukraine’s ports on the Danube, according to the Ukrainian Ministry of Infrastructure.
