Ukraine announced Saturday that it had conducted a “third exchange” of prisoners with Russia since the beginning of the Russian invasion, which allowed the liberation of 12 Ukrainian soldiers Y 14 civilians.

Several exchanges of soldiers and civilians between the Ukrainians and Russians have already taken place since the beginning of the invasion on February 24, without each time being officially confirmed by the two sides.
On April 1, the Ukrainian presidency announced that it had exchanged 86 of its soldiers for Russians, again without specifying the number of the latter.
