Sunny Valley (dpa) – The world ski association Fis has canceled the ski cross races planned for this weekend in Sunny Valley, Russia.
The two competitions for women and men will not take place due to the war in Ukraine, as the association announced. The German Ski Association had already announced the day before that its athletes would no longer take part in international competitions in Russia and Ukraine until further notice. Only Russian riders started in Friday’s qualification.
