LOOK. Market in Donetsk bombed: at least 13 dead
The attack reportedly took place in the Kirov district, northeast of the city, Moscow’s installed leader Aleksey Koulemzin said in a brief message on Telegram. Another person in charge talks about “a terrible bombing”.
Donetsk has been under the control of pro-Russian separatists since 2014 and is regularly under fire by the Ukrainian army. The city is about twenty kilometers from the front line.
Last New Year’s Eve, four more people were killed and thirteen were injured, including journalists, in various acts of violence in Donetsk.
