Brainpower, Handsome Poets, Tim Akkerman: this list of artists marks the start of the cultural season in Emmen. They will perform in the Rensenpark during the Uitfestival in Emmen. In addition to music, there is also room for theatre, visual arts and various workshops.
The festival (formerly the Uitmarkt) serves as the traditional, annual starting signal for cultural Emmen. Both professional organizations and amateurs join in to introduce the public to what they have to offer. The program is spread over seven locations in the park.
In addition to the Atlas Theater, the Center for Visual Arts, the Emmen Night Watch, Filmhuis Emmen, Loods13 and De Grote Kerk will also be performing.
New this year is the addition of a special kids square, where all kinds of activities, such as street art and children’s performances, take place.
