Ufc, Kevin Holland disarms and blocks a madman who shoots in a bar

“Trailblazer” with a friend protagonists of an act of heroism in a local in Houston. Already in October the wrestler had caught a car thief

A little less than a year ago he was put down by our Marvin Vettori in Las Vegas, but last night Kevin Holland made a gesture that goes far beyond his career in MMA. In fact, the Ufc fighter together with two other friends disarmed and immobilized a man who had started shooting inside a restaurant.

The story

It all happened in a sushi bar in Houston late yesterday evening: according to the reconstructions, a man pulled out a gun and fired a shot in the air, not hitting anyone but causing panic inside the place where the customers started to escape. All but two: Kevin Holland and a friend of his, also a practitioner of MMA, who disarmed and blocked the criminal until the arrival of the police. The local police then identified the man: the gun was stolen, he also had drugs with him.

I smiled

Holland didn’t want to talk to the local press about what happened, but posted a couple of instagram stories: “Kiss your kids, hug your family and treat strangers well, because you never know what kind of bastard you might run into” , he wrote. It is not the first time that “Trailblazer” stands out for such acts: in October he had chased, stopped and immobilized a car thief caught in the act. Ten days ago he had won the Ufc octagon against Alex Oliveira, ending a bad streak of two defeats (Vettori, Brunson) and a no contest (Daukaus).
