LOCALS ARE RENTING
Turkish clubs came second in the continent in sending their players to other teams on loan. In the country’s top league, 13.8 players per club were loaned to other clubs in the 2022-23 season. Italy came in first with 22.9 players per club. Considering the profiles of the players they loaned, Turkish teams were among those who sent the most local players in this type of transfer. 90% of the football players loaned by Turkish clubs were local names. Turkey came second after Poland (91%).
