UEFA will investigate the behavior of chairman and owner Nasser Al-Khelaïfi, sports director Leonardo and the Paris Saint-Germain club. This in response to possible misconduct after the defeat in the Champions League at Real Madrid on Wednesday. Reportedly, Al-Khelaïfi had to be stopped by his own guards, to prevent him from redressing in the dressing room of Dutch referee Danny Makkelie.
The PSG chairman also threatened a Real Madrid employee who filmed the scene with a mobile phone in the catacombs. “I’m going to kill you,” Al-Khelaïfi is said to have yelled. His behavior may result in punishment.
PSG lost the return at Estadio Santiago Bernabéu 3-1, forcing it to be eliminated in the eighth finals of the Champions League.
