Bavaria’s biggest profiteer

The UEFA pays the European clubs a record sum for the stops of their internationals. 233 million euros flow for the cycle between 2020 and 2024 to a total of 901 clubs from all 55 participating national associations, as the European Football Union announced. The 45 clubs from Germany receive around 30.35 million euros. Payments refer to the parking of two National League tournaments (2020/21 and 2022/23), the EM qualification (2022 to 2024) and the European Championship round 2024.
The largest profiteer in Germany is FC Bayern Munich (around 4.37 million euros) ahead of RB Leipzig (3.92), Bayer Leverkusen (3.41) and Borussia Dortmund (3.01). In international comparison, Germany is in third place behind leaders England (46.89 million) and Italy (35.31). The top five complete Spain (22.88) and France (11.97).
