ARD and ZDF have agreed on the distribution of group games at the 2024 European Football Championship.
ZDF will broadcast the European Championship opening game between Germany and Scotland from Munich, which will be played on Friday evening (June 14, 2024, from 9 p.m.).
The ARD will then show the other two German games in the preliminary round on the first and in the ARD media library: on June 19th at 6 p.m. the encounter against Hungary from Stuttgart and on June 23rd the third group game of the German team against Switzerland in Frankfurt (Kick-off: 9 p.m.).
If the German national team advances to the knockout round, ZDF will broadcast the German round of 16 and a possible semi-final of the Nagelsmann team, while ARD would show the quarter-finals with German participation.
WDR is in charge
The European Championship final on July 14th at 9 p.m. in Berlin can also be seen live on Erste and in the ARD media library.
Within ARD, Westdeutscher Rundfunk (WDR) is in charge of UEFA EURO 2024.
