At the end of November last year, several domestic burglaries were committed in a short period of time in Uden. Not much is known about the loot with which the perpetrators got away. A lot of damage has been done and the residents will be frightened.
The police take things very seriously. In Bureau Brabant she shows images of three cases on Monday evening. Like a situation at a house on the Gulden. On 21 November, at a quarter to eight in the evening, a woman and a man appear in front of the house. They may just be walking there by chance, but, it cannot be ruled out, they may have something to do with two men approaching the same house ten minutes later.
They report to the side of the building, then disappear from view for a while and then run away a short time later. They may have been disturbed by a dog in the house during a break-in attempt.
Perpetrators from Eastern Europe?
Five days later, a house on the Muntmeester hit the ground running. Camera images show how three people, two men and probably a woman, are in the living room. They’re probably on the hunt for thieves. Suddenly they seem to be disturbed when the alarm goes off.
You can clearly hear one of the alleged burglars shouting ‘Alarme’ and then a name, ‘Aylin’, is also mentioned. According to the police, this could indicate that we are dealing with uninvited guests from Eastern Europe. Incidentally, the burglars are not deterred by the alarm: one of them has started snooping around upstairs and a lot has been turned upside down.
Striking sports shoes
On November 27, two men try to make their mark in the Wislaan in Uden. One of them wears striking sneakers and tries to disconnect a camera. His face is not visible. Elsewhere in the house an accomplice is busy: he can be seen more clearly. According to the police, the two took everything, including a can of protein powder from Nutrition. Remarkably enough, the bus is found the same evening, a little further on the Patrijsweg.
Incidentally, on the same day on the Wislaan, two more houses are visited by people with the wrong intentions. One of them is overrun by the resident, who tries in vain to trace the burglar. The police would like to receive as much information as possible in all cases.
