U-turn at Assan Ouédraogo? FC Bayern, RB Leipzig, Eintracht Frankfurt and Co. are there

The rumors about Assan Ouédraogo from FC Schalke 04 are gaining momentum. After a move was recently brought to the fore in the winter, it currently looks as if the youngster will end the season with the Royal Blues.

At the weekend, “Sport Italia” reported that Inter Milan was actively courting Ouédraogo’s services. Accordingly, the Nerazzurri want to lure the Germany U17 international to Italy in the winter.

“Sky” also wrote on Monday that Inter has entered the poker game for the Schalke jewel. According to the TV station, however, a winter change is “very unlikely or even impossible”.

Ouédraogo currently has a youth contract in Gelsenkirchen, which will automatically be converted into a professional contract with some exit clauses when he turns 18 on May 9, 2024.

If the 17-year-old decides to change, the buyer would have to transfer “only” seven million euros to FC Schalke 04, according to “Sport Bild”.

FC Bayern, RB and Eintracht Frankfurt are interested in Ouédraogo?

In order to be able to make (more) money from Ouédraogo, those responsible at Schalke are apparently already cautiously thinking about a winter sale. At this point, the transfer fee for the youngster would still be freely negotiable. A possible bidding could result in a real windfall for the second division club.

In the best case scenario, however, and according to the S04 bosses’ presentation, this sale would be paired with an immediate loan back until next summer.

From the Bundesliga, FC Bayern, RB Leipzig and Eintracht Frankfurt are said to be interested in Ouédraogo. However, the club from Saxony currently has the best chances. AC Milan, Liverpool FC and SSC Napoli are also said to have already put out feelers.
