In the meantime, not much remains of everything they left behind at home. Building a different life here is an alternative for those who have children. A center like KRYLA, Ukrainian for WINGS, plays an important role in this.
“Every Saturday, 50 children come to the center to study language in a very creative way. We have a studio here where the children can draw, do crafts and dance,” says Svitlana Musina, coordinator of the center.
