The onset of winter in Germany has led to the postponement of the two remaining round of 16 games in the Women’s DFB Cup.
Champion Bayern Munich will now play against regional league team Kickers Offenbach on February 14th (7:00 p.m.), while Eintracht Frankfurt and SC Freiburg will play against each other on February 8th (6:30 p.m.).
The German Football Association (DFB) announced this on Wednesday “due to the current weather conditions”.
The matches were originally supposed to have taken place on Sunday in Offenbach and on Monday in Frankfurt. The quarterfinals are scheduled for the beginning of March.
The winter break for the three Bundesliga clubs continues until the next league games on the 27th/28th. January.
