Two women died after violent incident at Swedish school

Two women who were attacked by a student at a school in the Swedish city of Malmö on Monday have died. Both women, who were both between the ages of 50 and 60, worked at the school.

An 18-year-old student has been arrested as a suspect. According to local media, he himself called the emergency services and told them where he was hiding. He also confessed to killing two people. When police found him, he was carrying a knife and ax. Police say he acted alone.

At the time of the attack, about 50 people were still in the school building. The motive of the perpetrator is not yet known.
