Starting in April, Jukka Lindström will host Yle’s new program.

Comedian and journalist Jukka Lindström returns to square. Lindström is remembered for his popular news satire About the week’s news – as the host of the program. About the week’s news program was shown from 2014 to 2017. The program was awarded in 2015 and 2016 with the Comedy and Sketch Program of the Year award.
Lindström will host A rough weeknight – new program on Yle TV1 from April 15. The program is broadcast on Saturdays at 21:00.
Yle promises in its announcement that the program will serve satire and fast-paced discussions. Lindström will discuss current news topics with journalists and comedians.
The scriptwriters of the program are Yasir Gaily, Anders HeleniusUrsula Herlin and Janne Zareff.
– We have the strongest comedy writing team in Finland, Lindström boasts in the announcement.
In the first evening of Hard Week, 15.4. the actor-writer Niina Lahtinen, Iltalehti’s politics editor, will be discussing Jari Hanska and communications professional Lotta Backlund.
In the spring broadcasts, the news is also fed by e.g. press corps May Day Kaarenoja and Robert Sundmanand comedians Iikka Kivi, Aatu Raitala and Eva Vekki. The studio will also feature topical guests throughout the spring.
– The face on the screen and the style of humor are the same as before, but the conversation and the guests take a bigger role in the evening of the Hard Week, says Lindström.
