Two new West Flemish centers for victims of family violence

In addition to Limburg and Antwerp, there are now also so-called ‘Family Justice Centers’ in Ostend and Kortrijk. This includes emergency services, the police and the judiciary.

The expansion comes after an increase in the number of accompaniments. In two years time there are 40 percent more counseling in the four existing centers.

In the ‘Family Justice Centers’, particular attention will be paid to children, who are the most frequent victims of family violence.
