Two new suspects arrested abroad for involvement in the murder of Peter R. de Vries Inland

Two sources report this to De Telegraaf. Nothing is yet known about the identity of the suspects, the role they would have played in the murder in July last year and in which country they were arrested.

The Public Prosecution Service said on Tuesday morning that it could not respond for the time being.

‘Murder chain exposed’

While most liquidations only manage to catch the executors, in the murder of the murdered crime journalist and adviser to crown witness Nabil B., the police and the Public Prosecution Service are convinced that the entire ‘murder chain’ from client to shooter is exposed.

Within an hour of the attack on De Vries last year on July 6 in the Lange Leidsedwarsstraat, Delano G. and Kamiel E. were already stuck on the A4 and arrested. The OM demanded life imprisonment against the man who, according to the OM, was the shooter and his accomplice.

Kristian M.

While the Amsterdam Public Prosecution Service focuses on the executors, the national criminal investigation department hunted down the driver and client. Monday it happened. In his cell, 27-year-old Krystian M. from Ochten, Gelderland, was arrested on suspicion of directing the ‘murder couple’. Shortly afterwards, De Telegraaf announced on Monday, the police arrested a fourth suspect. The Public Prosecution Service will announce more about this fourth suspect on Tuesday.

Krystian M., like Kamiel E., has a Polish background. Co-defendants of M. from the case surrounding a shooting in Zeewolde for which he was already detained, also have this. The police and the judiciary therefore speak of a ‘Polish murder squad’. They are convinced that Ridouan Taghi ordered the murder because De Vries assisted key witness Nabil B. as an adviser.

On July 14, the court will rule in the criminal case involving Kamiel E. and Delano G.
