The police have arrested two men suspected of being involved in the robbery of Dusan Tadic. The Ajax player was attacked near his home at the end of July and suffered minor injuries.
It concerns a 26-year-old man who was arrested on Waterlandplein on Friday and a 19-year-old man who was arrested this morning at IJburg. The men were arrested in part thanks to surveillance cameras in the area. Investigators say the investigation is still ongoing.
In the night from Wednesday 27 to Thursday 28 July, Tadic was met by two armed men with helmets on. When the Serb got out of his car, they came at him. A scuffle ensued between the two men. Tadic suffered minor injuries and there were several tears in his clothing. He then managed to flee, after which the robbers took off without any money.
