The Ommen exit of the A28 is closed. Rijkswaterstaat is carrying out emergency repairs to the road surface. Two lanes and the exit are closed for this. It is not yet known how long the closure will last.
This is the exit to the north. People who want to go to the Vechtdal from Zwolle are advised to turn around at Nieuwleusen and then still take the right exit.
The morning traffic jam is now increasing. Just before eight o’clock there is three kilometers. The delay is still small. The lanes are closed between the Zwolle Noord and Ommen exits.
The damage on the road surface is so great that the holes could not be repaired with ‘cold asphalt’. That is why Rijkswaterstaat has been busy all night to plug the gaps. But that didn’t work before dawn.
