Two people were injured in a collision between two cars near Schoonebeek this afternoon. They were both taken to hospital. One of them was freed by the fire service because the victim was trapped in his vehicle.
The accident happened just before 4.30 pm, at an intersection where the Veenschapsweg and the Kanaalweg merge. How that could have happened is unclear.
Traffic that wants to pass the accident site can take a detour via the service road.
