Two injured in Amsterdam stabbing after ‘quarrel got out of hand’

A stabbing took place at Bos en Lommerplatsoen in Amsterdam around 9 p.m. Two people were injured, a police spokesman said. One of them had to be taken to hospital.

Police are still investigating exactly what happened. However, a spokesperson can say that an argument probably arose in which two victims fell. One of them was slightly injured, the other was in more serious condition and had to be taken to hospital.

An air ambulance was also called in, but it turned out not to be necessary. No one has been arrested yet, but the police have shared a message on Burgernet. It appears that the police are looking for a 28-year-old man.
