An accident on the A32 near Havelterberg caused havoc last night. A truck driver and the driver of a van were seriously injured.
Around two o’clock the driver of the van crashed into the back of the truck. The truck therefore flew off the highway and ended up through a tree in a ditch. Firefighters had to free the driver from the cab. He was taken to hospital with serious injuries.
The driver of the van was also injured in the collision, and his car was severely damaged. He was taken to hospital with unknown injuries. An investigation must reveal how the accident could have happened. The A32 was partly closed to traffic for some time due to the accident.
