A car and truck collided at the roundabout on Glenarvanstraat in Emmen this morning around 10 a.m. The two occupants of the car were injured, police said.
Both victims had to be freed by the fire brigade, after which medical staff took care of the pair. In the meantime, the street was closed off. Research must reveal how the collision could have occurred.
