In the 2nd Bundesliga, SC Paderborn destroyed a hard-earned lead for Hannover 96 on matchday 3. And shot the game spectacularly.
On Saturday (08/06/2022) East Westphalia beat Lower Saxony 4-2 (1-2) in a game with open sights. At first, the guests cheered, Harvard Nielsen gave coach Stefan Leitl’s team an early lead (12′). The fact that the SCP found its way into the game was due to an own goal by 96 defender Luka Krajnc (28th).
Although Cedric Teuchert gave Hannover the lead again (37′) at the break, Schalke’s loanees Marvin Pieringer (52′) and Ron Schallenberg (60′) then turned the game around for Paderborn within eight minutes. Striker Felix Platte then made everything clear with the fourth SCP goal (89th).

Paderborn travels to Kaiserslautern on Friday evening (6.30 p.m.) for the 4th matchday, Hannover plays against SSV Jahn Regensburg on Sunday (1.30 p.m.).
