Benjamin Brière and Bernard Phelan, two Frenchmen held in an Iranian prison, were released on humanitarian grounds on Friday and returned to France. French and Iranian authorities report this. The men were accused of espionage, which they themselves denied. They both protested their imprisonment with hunger strikes as their families fought for their release.
