Two Door Cinema Club have announced a new album. KEEP ON SMILING, as it is titled, is scheduled for release on September 2nd. This announcement is flanked by the release of her new single “Wonderful Life”, which can hear here and now in the stream.
KEEP ON SMILING will be the fifth studio album by the Northern Irish indie pop band. The predecessor FALSE ALARM was released in 2019. ME author Sven Kabelitz attested to him at the time: “Two Door Cinema Club are starting again with FALSE ALARM’s pop, which is rooted in the 1980s.” The new record was written during and after a corona lockdown and produces, with the help of Jacknife Lee (Bloc Party, The Killers, Taylor Swift) and Dan Grech Marguerat (Halsey, Lana Del Rey, George Ezra), among others.

In June, Two Door Cinema Club performed at the Tempelhof Sounds Festival, followed by performances at various other European festivals. The band has now also announced a European tour – with four concert dates in Germany. Pre-sales are scheduled to begin on June 17th.
