Two deceased elderly people were found this afternoon in a house on Eikenlaan in Loosdrecht. The two probably died of carbon monoxide poisoning.
The first report of carbon monoxide was made at 4:10 p.m. After emergency services arrived, they found two bodies in the home. A police spokesperson said there is no immediate reason for a police investigation.
Measurements still need to be taken in the home to ensure that it is carbon monoxide. In addition, a medical examiner will examine the two deceased elderly people.
